The search is on for the 10th Bingo Caller of the Year

For the 10th year in succession, the National Bingo Game Association is searching for Britain’s Best Bingo Caller. The contest is open to all bingo callers whose clubs participate in the National Bingo Game, at licensed bingo clubs all over the country. We are looking for a bingo caller who has a unique blend of fun and professionalism; who never fails to bring something special to every bingo session. We’re seeking a caller whose huge personality will always be at the heart of the club; whose commanding voice will easily be in complete control of the game. Our winner will have that certain something, which will make our champion someone who is worthy of becoming an ambassador for the bingo industry.

This 10th anniversary winner will win a fantastic week-long trip for two to the glittering cities of Los Angeles and Las Vegas, plus £500 spending money, and the chance of being one of the nationwide callers on the big money National Game!

The search has just begun and will take almost nine months to reach its conclusion. The National Final of this year’s Bingo Caller of the Year will take place in London on Sunday November 28th. Book your place now!

How to enter -

Bingo callers can nominate themselves for the competition and send Gloria Pattinson an
entry form with a photograph and their opinion on why they should be the
bingo caller of the year. They then select 10 entries from each of the
five competition regions: Scotland, Wales, The North, The Midlands and
The South of England. Each of these callers provide us with a VHS video
tape of themselves at work: interacting with their customers and calling
a game. The video tape is accompanied by a letter of recommendation
from the caller's manager.

From the videos they select 5 finalists in each region, who are invited to
attend a day at a club within their region. At the regional final, the
judging panel interviews each candidate and they then go on-stage in
front of a real bingo playing audience to entertain the players and call
a game. One winner is selected from each region to go into the National
Final held in London in November.
